Bullying, and in particular cyber bullying, is a recurring news headline in Nova Scotia. Our plan is to develop and deliver a series of school plays targeting youth justice issues beginning with cyber-bullying. Helping youth at risk of coming into conflict with the law, can change a life path. We believe one of the best ways to provide young people with an understanding the law and how it impacts them is to work with Nova Scotia schools.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship Education & Development (CEED) is working in partnership with Common Roots Urban Farm to teach at-risk and marginalized youth valuable landscaping and gardening employability skills in a safe and supportive work environment. Common Roots Urban Farm produces healthy, accessible food in the heart of Halifax. Through this important initiative, it will offer a much-needed, on-the-job training ground for young people facing significant barriers. On the farm, CEED experts will provide youth with the life skills they need to secure a brighter future.
