DropZone for Easter Seals – the Insurance Incredibles are Gearing Up!

Posted by  On July 18, 2014

The Insurance Incredibles from Archway are rappelling off Nova Scotia’s tallest office tower!

Can you imagine facing your fears for a barrier-free Nova Scotia? That’s what Ben Jones is doing as a Superhero in the Easter Seals Drop Zone event. Supported by his team, the Archway Insurance Incredibles, he will be rappelling from the roof of 1801 Hollis Street in Halifax on October 3rd, 2014.It’s a 23-storey drop to challenge himself and change lives of Nova Scotian children, youth and adults with disabilities. Archway is proud to support the good work that Easter Seals Nova Scotia does every day.

The Insurance Increibles have a goal to raise $3,000 for this worthy cause and if we do teammate Gina McFetridge will join Ben on the journey down. We need your help to get there. One hundred (that’s 100%!) of the funds raised by our team and other participants will stay in Nova Scotia to support Easter Seals Nova Scotia’s programs and services.

Anygift you provide will positively impact the lives of Nova Scotians with disabilities who make up 20% of our population. Thank you very much for your support – you’re a superhero too!

photo-2“Even though we have ‘disabilities’, to me, they’re not disabilities, they’re special abilities. Like I always tell people, I do not have a disability. It’s a special ability because I can do some things the average person might not be able to do. But I feel we are all equal in our own way.
